Senior Financial Analyst - Global FP&A , Planning / Reporting Operations & Financial Systems Administrator

The Senior FP&A analyst will play an integral role in the global forecasting, planning, and reporting process. He or she will partner with teams across the finance organization to understand process inefficiencies and automation opportunities and work cross-functionally to create solutions that deliver value back to the organization. This senior analyst will be a key member on the Global FP&A team based in Chicago headquarters, assisting in financial model building, Anaplan administration and maintenance. Additionally, this role will provide ad-hoc analysis as needed for senior financial leadership. We are seeking strong analytical skills, an interest in financial data, systems, and processes, along with a desire for consistent personal development. Willingness to dive in head first while improving key technical skills and learning new systems is a requirement.
You'll spend time on the following:
Work to resolve process inefficiencies & find opportunities for automation
Use systems such as Anaplan, Snaplogic, as well as other technological resources to develop streamlined workflows supporting planning cycles and reporting
Understand country and category business drivers. Monitor performance and KPIs.
Work closely with regional finance, regional CFOs and other members of the global finance organization
Improve existing reporting and tooling capabilities in financial systems
Ad-hoc deep dives on pressing business issues
We're excited about you if:
You have a Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years experience in Accounting or Finance
You have advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
You are systems savvy - comfortable with data architectures and ERP systems
You seek out ways to automate tasks and improve the way work gets done
You are highly analytical and detail oriented
You have experience in a multinational company operating across geographies
You are familiar with ecommerce or retail environment
You thrive in a fluid, fast-paced environment
