Reporting to the FP&A Manager, the Senior Financial Analyst will play a critical role in strategic decision making and operations as Litera continues to enhance its quality offerings and undergoes rapid growth. This individual will work on key projects within the business to deliver financial insights to all parts of the organization. The Senior Financial Analyst role will be responsible for assisting in monthly and annual reporting, financial forecasting, investor relations, and other strategic analysis. This position has a high degree of exposure to the VP, Finance as well as other functional VPs, the CEO and CFO.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate expertise in monthly reporting of actual and forecasted results for the Income Statement, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow Statement
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting for private equity ownership group
  • Maintain annual Strategic Planning and Budgeting processes
  • Oversee monthly meetings with department heads to ensure visibility to financial performance versus targets
  • Manage the implementation of an FP&A tool
  • Provide timely and insightful financial analysis, identifying areas to improve financial performance
  • Continuously monitor, identify and improve financial processes to ensure efficient and accurate reporting and analysis
  • Assist in the evaluation of financial systems and tools with the objective of more efficient and accurate reporting and analysis
  • Lead and assist with other ad-hoc reporting and analysis as needed such as M&A integration and investment scenario analyses
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis and reporting as required

Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA preferred
  • Expert Excel experience required; NetSuite, Salesforce and Power BI/Tableau reporting experience is a plus
  • SaaS experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of financial data flows
  • Track record of outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organization, planning and time management skills. Proven ability to manage competing priorities and execute deliverables in a timely fashion
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work well with others
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
