We are looking for a Senior Global Financial Analyst whose responsibility is to provide day to day accounting support to the Global Finance department. The Senior Global Financial Analyst, reporting to the Global Controller, works independently and self analyzes their data and reports. The Senior Global Financial Analyst works to identify issues, develops POVs, and offers ideas that can drive results to meet and/or exceed targets and to create efficiencies.

 

This position interacts with and builds relationships with Finance Directors and Controllers across regions and other members of the Global Finance department. This position is ideal for a candidate looking to gain experience working for a global company and handle a combination of accounting and finance responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare annual budget and quarterly forecasts for the Global Management departments (Global Management, Global Finance, Global IT, Global HR, and Global G&A).
  • Prepare monthly cost variance analysis for Global Management departments against annual budget, quarterly forecast, and prior year actuals.
  • Prepare various monthly journal entries for Global Management departments as well as allocations to other regions.
  • Responsible for Global Management’s month end close process and ensuring expenses are properly recorded to Global Management departments.
  • Review intercompany reconciliations between TMS entities and also with our parent company (Havi) and work to resolve discrepancies.
  • Prepare and review quarterly variance analysis of global support functions including HR, Finance, and IT, across TMS entities.
  • Prepare consolidated 10-day and 6-month cash flow forecasts.
  • Support regions that encounter issues that may arise during month end submission of actuals.
  • Lead quarterly review of balance sheet reconciliations for all regions, which includes meeting coordination, preparing review materials and facilitating resolution of open items.
  • Assist with tax related deliverables requested by Havi.
  • Participate in ad hoc special projects as required, and other tasks as assigned.
  • Support the implementation of Oracle Planning system.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; CPA preferred
  • Relevant work experience required, experience with a public accounting firm a plus
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and working with large data files required
  • NetSuite and Open Air experience (or acute understanding of ERP systems) and experience with Oracle Planning a plus
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with a wide range of people required
  • Excellent organizational, analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment; must be a self-starter

What are The Marketing Store Perks + Benefits

The Marketing Store Benefits Overview

TMS is incredibly flexible. We have summer hours from early May through late September. Outside of that, we have a work from home policy where we encourage employees to have a good work/life balance. Our benefits are effective the first day of hire-there’s no sort of waiting period! All of our medical plans are all PPO’s while still offering a wide variety of high deductibles and lower deductible plans. There are two dental plans that employee can pick from along with a vision plan. We have unique benefits such as pet insurance, organ donor leave, an extended parental leave, an adoptive leave policy, legal insurance, auto & home insurance, etc. Life insurance and AD&D is covered at not once the employee’s annual salary, but twice! We have tuition reimbursement to assist employees with going back to school and continuing to develop themselves. We also offer a student loan repayment plan to help employees with financial support to help reduce their loans. There’s an onsite gym that is free for employees with a full service locker that employees can take advantage off. There’s a wellness program that employees can partake in that is based off a point system where employees can turn those points into dollars and receive lots of cool, free gifts such as Amazon gift cards, apple watches, etc. A company perk program is offered where employees can sign up and get discounts off certain retail stores, flights, hotels, etc. A Referral bonus plan is offered to employees who refer employees to join the company. There’s an annual bonus and salary increase that dependent on company’s financials and employee performance. There are several gyms that we partner with to give a gym discount. There’s a traditional 401(k) plan that we offer with a match, but we also generously offer profit sharing an annual basis. Flexible Spending Account (FSA)
Acme employees can contribute up to $2750 annually to their FSA.
Disability Insurance
For both AD&D and life insuance, the company covers up to twice your annual salary without any cost to the employee. Employees are also able to buy up this insurance amount if they decide to.
Dental Benefits
Our dental plan covers $2000 of expenses. Prevenative care is covered at 100% and employees have 2 different dental plans to pick from depending on their dental needs.
