The Paylocity Sales Finance team is seeking a highly motivated individual that has a desire to continue to grow their career and build business partnerships along the way. The Senior Pricing Analyst will be a key member of the growing Sales Finance team at Paylocity with responsibilities including pricing strategy, financial modeling, sales analysis and other required duties in a fast-paced public company environment.  

What you'll be doing:

• Perform benchmark analysis on competitor pricing; identify opportunities and gaps in current pricing model
• Identify future pricing opportunities based on market trends; develop competitive intelligence on pricing by segment and geography 
• Work cross-functionally to develop strategic pricing plans and processes for multiple sales teams
• Work with the sales, marketing and product teams to define pricing structure in advance of upcoming product releases
• Drive the analysis of current discounting levels; develop a perspective on opportunities for greater pricing leverage based on product features versus competition
• Develop an understanding of attach and penetration rates for existing product suite; identify opportunities to drive greater product penetration for new and existing clients
• Create reports reflecting metrics and project objectives, status and challenges
• Maintain and update various financial metrics and ratios to assist management in the evaluation of business performance
• Prepare certain aspects of the financial analyses that supports monthly and quarterly close. Work with more experienced team members to identify areas that require further investigation
• Communicate findings effectively to relevant departments of the company
• Address issues and concerns raised by team members relating to pricing suggestions
• Assist with various ad-hoc requests as needed 

What you bring:

• Bachelor’s degree required with focus in Accounting or Finance preferred; other quantitative-focused majors may be considered
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills strongly preferred
• 4-6 years of relevant experience
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate efficiently both verbally and in writing
• Proficiency with Power BI and Salesforce are strongly preferred.
