Job Description Summary

The Staff Accountant position is a key member of our general ledger (G/L) and tax teams. In addition to the responsibilities listed below, the Staff Accountant will work with many other teams at CCC including Financial Planning & Analysis, Accounts Payable, Sales Operations, and our external auditors. Job Duties

  • Assist in month end closes including preparing journal entries in Workday Financial
  • Prepare supporting schedules for balance sheet accounts
  • Maintain fixed assets in Workday Financial
  • Utilize bank reports to review cash accounts
  • Calculate license fees based on contracts
  • Perform ad hoc analysis and reports
  • Work with our external auditors to complete the quarterly reviews and year-end financial audit
  • Assist in the completion of recurring state and local sales tax returns, filings and compliance       

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, or greater, in Accounting
  • Up to 3 yrs experience
  • CPA or working towards certification
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with Workday Financial is a plus
  • Tax experience a plus
  • Strong communication skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Follow through tasks to completion
