Optiver is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Tax Accounting and Compliance Manager. As the Tax Manager, you will play a key role in Optiver’s core tax function.

What you’ll do:

• Responsible for GAAP and IRFS tax provisions:
  • Streamline GAAP and IFRS tax provisions
  • Work with the Finance team to maintain tax related general ledger accounts
  • Calculate and monitor ETR
  • Deliver financial statement audit tax support: Collaborate with the Finance team on financial reporting support, tax accounting, and disclosures
  • Integrate tax law changes into tax accounting and reporting process
• Manage Federal, state, and multi-national tax compliance:
  • Own successful completion of US, NL and UK returns
  • Track and manage growing state tax footprint
  • Calculate and pay quarterly estimated tax payments
  • Participate in audit defense
• Develop and implement effective internal controls surrounding tax accounting and compliance
• Drive a continuous improvement mindset across all activities; identify new opportunities to add value to the business
• Other tax projects

 What you’ll need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
• CPA certification required
• 6-10 years of experience
• ASC 740 experience required
• Strong track record of updating, monitoring, and improving control environment
• Excellent communication and analytical skills
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
• Highly motivated, detail oriented individual able to handle multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
• Partnership & multi-state experience a plus
