Upfront Healthcare is looking for a hands-on Senior (Sr.) Platform Product Manager. Reporting to the Head (VP) of Product, you’ll be responsible for leading our core technical platform. The Sr. Platform Product Manager will join an innovative team working to improve the current healthcare experience for millions of patients. We are growing quickly and are looking for a Sr. Platform Product Manager to deliver innovative and market leading solutions that patients love, and providers need.

Who are you?

  • You are passionate about building products that benefit patients and healthcare providers. 
  • You are technically savvy and have experience working with a team of engineers dealing with enterprise software, data, new products, and technology migrations.
  • You have experience leading the development of APIs and 3rd party integrations.
    • Understanding of the healthcare data and interoperability landscape (e.g., Batch, HL7, API integrations across Epic, Cerner, NextGen, etc.).
    • Experience developing integrations with Twilio preferred.
  • You are inherently curious, taking the time to teach yourself new tools, techniques, and technologies.
  • You understand the end-to-end product journey and can do it all including seeking feedback from and presenting to senior executive stakeholders, writing requirements, and prioritizing the backlog.  
  • You know how to measure your own success and you iterate to satisfy KPIs determined on value delivered, usage, and client satisfaction.
  • You have worked in a fast-paced Agile development environment. Ideal candidates will have experience in data and analytics.
  • You bring 4+ years of experience in product management within a SaaS software company, ideally in a startup environment.

Role Responsibilities

  • Manage the roadmap; own bringing key features, based on research, to our solution(s).
  • Own communication of product releases, internally and externally.
    • Write release notes and train internal stakeholders on new features.
  • Maintain and prioritize the product backlog, including gathering requirements, writing user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Lead a cross-functional team of engineers and designers to determine deliverables, timelines, and dependencies to successfully execute product delivery.
  • Drive alignment and effective problem resolution across the organization, effectively optimizing scope, schedule, and resources and escalating issues when necessary.

 

Role Related PHI Access

 

  • This role requires access to all client accounts for purposes of client implementations as well as client environment QA/UAT processes.
