Your contributions will directly impact the financial elements critical to supporting the business. At Jiobit, you will have the opportunity to prepare for your new career by understanding and strengthening the accounting framework of the company, as well as analyzing financial results to help drive business decisions. Additionally, you will learn how the finance team provides data analysis to support other business functions, specifically the marketing and operations teams.

The role.
Our goal is to provide you with a well-rounded, meaningful experience this summer to help you grow professionally, and allow you to build your resume with fundamental finance and accounting work experience. This is a paid internship as a 1099 contractor. We would like to find a candidate willing to work 40 hours per week, who may also be interested in working part-time during the following school year. You will be contributing to the success of the company from day 1, with the following responsibilities:
Prepare and execute monthly journal entries in support of the month-end accounting close process
Complete monthly account reconciliations to support the accuracy of the financials
Analyze monthly financial statements and present results to the CEO and VP of Finance
Manage fundamental accounting processes, such as bank reconciliations and accounts payable
Contribute financial content to external investor pitch presentations
Create and maintain marketing analytics charts to measure advertising spend performance
What you'll need.
2-3 years completion of an Undergraduate program or current enrollment in a Graduate program, with an accounting or finance concentration.
GPA of 3.5+
Experience working with Microsoft Excel
Excellent communication skills, and strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize and multitask
