­closerlook Spring 2021 – Creative Internship

What to expect

As a closerlook Design/Art Direction Intern, you will work alongside a Senior Designer to learn the ropes of our Creative Department! You will learn the basics of creative concepting and how to partner with all departments within the agency to provide design support for our clients. In addition, you will take advantage of the various learning and development programs and support systems that closerlook offers. This includes 1:1 mentorship, learning and development sessions, and opportunities to create community. We’ve designed our internship program to introduce underrepresented individuals to the world of biopharma marketing and create opportunity to become ambassadors for diversity, equity and inclusion throughout your careers.

If you are a rising senior or recent design graduate and identify as African American, Latinx, Asian or Indigenous and would like to gain experience with a digital marketing agency focused in the bio- pharma market, we encourage you to apply!

Program Details:

Start Date: March 2021

End Date: June 2021

Schedule: Full-time (Monday – Friday, 9AM-5PM)

Pay: Hourly

Responsibilities

• Learn how to work within a creative strategy
• Assist in preparing client submissions
• Attend internal/external meetings capturing meeting notes
• Implement prescriptive feedback
• Perform stock searches
• Clean up / organize files
• Participate in brainstorm sessions

Requirements

• Experience in Adobe Suite, InDesign and Photoshop
• Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office Suite
• Interest in biopharmaceutical and/or healthcare industries
• Passion for diversity, equity and inclusion
• Passion for bringing about greater health equity
• Strategic thinker who can collaborate and offer creative solutions and ideas
• Must have strong written and verbal skills
• Must be organized and attentive to detail
• Ability to complete a 12-week internship program
• Available to work at least 40 hours per week for the duration of the program
