Position Title: SaaS Support Specialist

Location: Chicago, IL

More than 400 global businesses leverage SAP Fieldglass’ intuitive Vendor Management System (VMS) to gain visibility into its external labor, project-based services including Statements of Work (SOWs), independent contractors and additional flexible talent pools.

What you'll do

• The person chosen for this opportunity will work alongside the SaaS team learning and assisting with everything from our day to day operations support efforts to new automation and R&D efforts. 
• The selected person will get direct real world experience assisting internal customers on our testing and staging environments, training in shadowing efforts in our live production environment.
• Implementation of production systems into cloud based architecture(s)
• The SaaS Support Specialist will also gain experience in onboarding and offboarding account creation and permission settings in Active Directory as well as working with cloud and containerization based technologies such as Azure and Kubernetes.

Position Requirements: What it takes

•    Exposure to patching and monitoring or security and network management toolsets is a plus.
•    General knowledge of Azure and AWS cloud technologies is a big plus.
•    Exposure to Automation technologies such as Docker, Chef and Kubernetes is a plus.
•    An active desire to increase exposure to new technologies and a passion for self-learning.
•    Some prior experience in PowerShell or at least one scripting language is a big plus.
•    Self-starter, team player and goal-oriented.
•    Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
•    Ability to prioritize concurrent projects and incidents.

SAP Fieldglass’s internship program is part of a broader program called SAP iXp.  The SAP Internship Experience Project (iXp) is a 10 week paid, fulltime internship program. Our mission is simple – to build the next generation of SAP.
