Job Analyst Intern
Vail Systems has an opportunity for an unpaid Job Analyst Intern. This role will partner with the HR team and managers to conduct in-depth research about positions within the company and develop job descriptions for them.

The Job Analyst Intern will work on a variety of tasks including:
- Collects, analyzes, and prepares job information to facilitate the creation of job descriptions
- Works with HR Business Partners to meet with managers to determine job type, scope, and purpose of each position
- Studies and collects current job descriptions and compiles organizational charts, and other background information required for gathering relevant data to create job descriptions
- Observes jobs and interviews employees and managers to determine job requirements
- Analyzes job data, such as knowledge, skills, abilities and training requirements of jobs and employees; develops written job descriptions, job specifications, and career paths
- Utilizes developed job descriptions and salary survey data such as Option Driver to evaluate or improve methods and techniques for recruiting, selecting, promoting, evaluating, and training employees
- Assists the HR Business Partners to evaluate the jobs within each department to determine their relative value and create a wage structure
- Ensures all roles are calibrated consistently across the organization
- Create a catalogue of job profiles and job documentation
- Develops reports and dashboards for wider discussion to support strategic decisions and improve day-to-day business processes
What we need to see from you:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or a related field
- Prior experience in research
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task, remain organized and work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Good follow-through skills
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
