Job Description

Seeking an all-star intern to join our Marketing Department, working with the demand generation and communications teams to support content marketing strategy, SEO and social media. Ideal candidate is an organized, good natured ass-kicker with strong writing skills, Google Analytics experience and can manage multiple assignments and deadlines to support our SEO and content marketing initiatives.

Essential Functions:

  • Develop, implement and maintain comprehensive search engine optimization recommendations, leveraging google analytics to measure effectiveness of SEO tactics and identifying process improvements
  • Perform keyword and market research, as needed
  • Curate content for social media, draft social posts
  • Research and draft blog content, optimized for SEO
  • Develop strategies and research new tools to support goals
  • Stay up to date on trends in online marketing and the sales enablement space, providing recommendations for A/B testing and blog post topics
  • Work closely with the internal departments to develop and launch desired online marketing campaigns and promotions with a consistent voice across channels
  • Additional duties as assigned

Required Skills

  • Knowledge and understanding of online marketing campaigns and social platforms
  • Strong communication, team relationship, organizational, and analytical skills
  • Ability to prioritize work assignments, critical tasks, and routine work to maximize results
  • Ability to analyze on-page and off-page optimization and recommending future strategies
  • Experience monitoring and reporting search engine rankings, link popularity, saturation, etc.
  • Comfortable working in cross functional teams including Content/Communications and Demand Generation
  • Results oriented and fact-based decision-making skills
  • Possess strong business ethics; be reliable and dependable
  • Strong initiative and willingness to approach work with a sense of urgency
  • Experience with Search Engine Optimization tools (SEMRush)
  • Meticulous attention to detail, while handling multiple responsibilities

Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred with a concentration in Marketing
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast paced environment
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics
  • Knowledge of social platforms, specifically LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook
