Marketing Intern (Partnership Marketing)

| Chicago

About The Opportunity

Here at Grubhub we’ve been dedicated to giving diners the most convenient way to order food from their favorite restaurants (whether that’s a late night Chalupa from Taco Bell or a salad for lunch from a local restaurant the day after they enjoyed said late night Chalupa).

While we are food-obsessed, we are also customer-obsessed. We look to constantly innovate our technology so our diners’ food experience is memorable, restaurant owners get more business and individuals across the country looking for part-time work can deliver the food from the restaurant to the diner flawlessly. We take great pride in knowing that we are a part of 17+ million diners food ordering experience and we are partnered with 105,000 restaurants in 2,000 US cities across our suite of apps (Grubhub, LevelUp, Seamless, Tapingo, Eat24).

Want to be a part of the biggest movement in the US that is moving eating forward? If so, we want to talk to you - and hear what’s your favorite restaurant for food delivery!

This internship role will report into the Partnerships Marketing team, working cross-functionally to help build out custom marketing campaigns for enterprise brands, analyze results and impact from those campaigns, and compile a marketing playbook detailing best practices that will be distributed externally to partners. This internship will offer well rounded exposure to all other facets of marketing - Brand, Creative, PR, CRM, Finance and more. This is not an errand running internship. You will be a key member of the partnership team during your time at Grubhub building real campaigns and driving real business results.

  • Work cross-functionally across all teams to help build custom enterprise marketing campaigns
  • Analyze & interpret data to determine impact and efficacy of enterprise marketing campaigns
  • Develop and compile a marketing playbook outlining best practices based on data and forecasts
  • Communicate findings and best practices out to the broader growth marketing team and explain/defend reasoning behind those findings

You Should Have

  • Current enrollment in an undergrad program
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Experience working cross functionally (doesn’t have to be in a marketing capacity)

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills - ability to clearly communicate results and key learnings with internal and external stakeholders

  • Comfort with a fast working pace

  • Self starter attitude
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects at once
  • Strong interest in learning about marketing and analytics
