Paylocity is looking for an ambitious, organized, and deadline-oriented Marketing Intern to support our marketing strategy and programs. This hands-on role will offer you opportunities to jump start your marketing career and build knowledge and skills, while working alongside experienced marketing and communications professionals. This is a paid, full-time summer internship, starting in May 2019 and ending in August 2019.

Responsibilities:

• Supporting corporate and lead-generating events by researching event venues, developing content for event websites and mobile apps, and ordering swag, raffle items, and collateral
• Creating at least one social content campaign and/or supplemental content pieces, and supporting content creation as needed for product launches, speaking engagements, or segment needs
• Working with our digital agency partner to support social media needs
• Researching trending topics in the human capital management space
• Supporting demand generation activities through campaign execution and gaining exposure to our marketing automation platform
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Working toward a bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field
• Successful academic track record
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office product suite
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Team player attitude and willing to jump in wherever necessary
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Desire to learn more about marketing and communications
