Grubhub is seeking a Part-time Organizational Development Intern in our Chicago office. This internship will begin in July and end late 2017.
Some Challenges You’ll TackleMany of the challenges you will tackle for this position will be to support and manage ongoing work within Organizational Development department. Specific areas of focus will include but not be limited to the following:
- Support the implementation and analysis of annual engagement survey
- Support and participate in creating training content
- Support ongoing talent management processes
- Provide support to the TM&OD development team on projects as needed
- Assist in coordinating, analyzing and summarizing annual engagement survey data
- Support administration for all classroom training, eLearning needs. (ie: class enrollment, tracking process, class materials, room set-up, and food orders etc.)
- Create and update content for our company intranet
- Audit existing trainings for effectiveness and influence
- Conducts needs assessments to determine measures required to enhance employee job performance and overall company performance
- Identifies/incorporates best practices and lessons learned into program plans
- Creating job aids, exercises, evaluation methods, and other instructional methods and materials, based on learning needs
- Assist with other Organizational Development projects as requested
- Currently pursing a Master's or a Ph.D degree in I/O Psychology, Organization Development or other relevant degree
- Bachelor's Degree required
- Experience using G-suite products (Gmail, Docs, Sheets and Forums)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in successfully managing projects and writing communications in a corporate environment
- Ability to perform multiple tasks at one time and be very detail-oriented
- Ability to think strategically and make sound judgment to plan to achieve goals
- Regular in-office social events, including happy hours, wine tastings, karaoke, bingo with prizes and more
