We are seeking a personable, self-motivated, and customer-service focused individual to join our People Team as a HR/TA Intern. This intern will learn how to effectively work with confidential information while understanding and improving upon HR processes and assisting with implementing new ideas. This individual will work closely with the People Team in their efforts to streamline our impact on the company and its employees.
Responsibilities
- Job Descriptions/Matrices:
- Assist with HR to compile JDs and Career Paths in a centrally accessible location
- Create self-updating Org Charts in Visio
- Onboarding
- Project: Help with implementing 10 in 10
- Review current and past new hire survey responses to help refine the process
- Assist with Day 1 orientations for New Hires
- Project: Help with implementing 10 in 10
- EE Files
- Puts together new hire employee files
- Both hard copy and electronic files
- Files any employee documents
- Will assist HR team on auditing current employee files
- Create and track Personnel Action Request (PAR) forms
- Puts together new hire employee files

- Put together new hire packet-including benefits information and new hire swag
- Performance Management Lifecycle
- Assist with developing annual calendar and additional support and communication materials
- Talent Acquisition Functions
- Scheduling interviews
- Collecting and tracking feedback
- Ad hoc office requests (ie. Front desk coverage) and other projects as assigned
Desired Skills & Experience
- Current Junior or Senior working towards a bachelor’s degree in human resources, psychology, or business
- Ability to work with sensitive information while maintaining confidentiality
- Excellent written and oral communications skills
- Extremely organized with an impeccable eye for detail
- A Self-starter who takes initiative and enjoys learning new things
- Ability to quickly understand new processes and identify operational opportunities
- A commitment to exceptional customer service
- Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook (ie. Calendar management)
