What We Are Looking For:

The General Counsel:

• Drafts, negotiates, and monitors contracts on behalf of the company
• Advises the company on legal liabilities
• Manages corporate governance, compliance, and filings
• Acts as Corporate Secretary for the corporation
• Works alongside other departments to manage legal compliance
• Manages outside counsel
• Oversees compliance with federal laws, including Anti-Kickback, CMS billing compliance, and Sunshine Act reporting
• Ensures adherence to privacy laws
• Oversees adherence to employment law
• Manages company intellectual property
• Oversees international compliance activities, including Foreign Corrupt Practice Act and Import/Export laws
• Reviews advertising and marketing materials for compliance with legal requirements
• Manages insurance policies
• Manages litigation and other disputes
• Monitors changes to the law and industry best practice
• Provides legal training to the company

Requirements:

• Law degree from an ABA-accredited law school
• 8+ years experience practicing law.
• A minimum of 3-5 years of in-house counsel experience
• Proven leadership and initiative.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Applicants must not now or in the future need IDx to sponsor an immigration case for employment (for example, H-1B or other employment-based immigration cases).
