The Market Insights & Analytics Manager position is a key position within Zebra Technologies responsible for establishing customer profiles and identifying market opportunities. The Market Insights & Analytics Manager will work closely with senior leadership, sales, marketing and engineering to provide direction and oversight on customer research and competitive analysis to understand needs and buying behavior.
Responsibilities- Supply voice of the B2B customer, customer segmentation, customer usage and industry trend insights based on primary research and secondary market analytics
- Effectively communicate market insights findings, make recommendations, and drive market research to meaningful business results with internal stakeholders
- Manage relationships with primary research vendors; guide approaches/methodologies and mange ad-hoc project requests
- Collect and analyze data and assemble results into internal client-facing deliverables
- Conceptualize research designs to address key business questions by implementing qualitative and quantitative research approaches to drive actionable insights and client implications
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience in analytics, customer insights, marketing analysis, qualitative or quantitative research, consulting; most of the experience should be primary research
- High level of competence with Microsoft Office suite (advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills) is essential
- Knowledge of marketing research methodologies (ex: quantitative, qualitative, ethnography, etc.) and statistical concepts (ex: significance testing, sampling, regression analysis, cluster analysis, etc.)
- Experience writing and/or creating surveys and working with on-line survey tools
- Excellent communication, presentation and consultative skills; experience with facilitation and project management skills
