Overview

The Advertising Program Manager acts as the primary point person for the execution of all Pay Per Lead (PPL) campaigns (both print & digital executions).  Directly develops and maintains effective long-term relationships within a defined customer base and ensures a high level of customer satisfaction and increased revenues. Responsible for capitalizing on existing business via face-to-face customer meetings and other communications approaches which are intended to increase profitable revenue via strategic, multimedia multi-platform program sales.  This role is responsible for the coordination of all advertising campaigns which include the submission of proposals and working with Marketing, Creative, and Ad Operations teams on implementation and execution. 

Responsibilities

  • Builds and maintains effective long-term relationships and a high level of satisfaction with key decision makers and influencers at an assigned group of customer accounts
  • Conducts regular status and strategy meetings with the customer to understand their needs and link them to Trib Pub’s portfolio of print and digital offerings and capabilities within the market
  • Broad knowledge of all aspects of project management, brand development and digital marketing including multi-channel interactive program development, email marketing and social media
  • Demonstrates deep understanding of the marketplace, customers' business models and objectives, competitors, and print and digital offerings. Articulates product offerings and their value to customers
  • Interface with agencies/ clients on all aspects of campaign ideation, execution, and implementation
  • Work on all pre- and post-sales activity and act as the primary point of contact for all aspects of campaign execution:
  • Respond to all RFPs and client requests by creating PPL media plans that meet client objectives
  • Pitch and develop campaigns/ media plans – ensure correct product mix and pricing strategies based on PPL model
  • Identify site audience/ demographics and ideal media mix for advertiser objectives and leverage resources for a competitive advantage
  • Respond to requests about inventory, ad products, creative specifications, etc.
  • Coordinate with relevant internal departments on all levels of campaign execution (Marketing, Ad Operations, Development, Billing, etc.)
  • Ensure all sold products are routed to the appropriate fulfillment teams or vendors
  • Work with Creative team (if necessary) to build creative/ ad units for campaign execution
  • Process and manage Insertion Orders utilizing Trib Pub tools and systems
  • Provide monthly campaign reports to client

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or relevant work experience
  • Industry knowledge of print and digital advertising products offered
  • Prior digital experience preferred (campaign/client management)
  • Show a high degree of self-motivation and work well within an individual and team environment
  • Must have a strong customer focus that conveys responsiveness and competence
  • Successful relationship building skills
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent presentation skills - creation and delivery
  • Demonstrate self-direction and ability to work autonomously
  • Practical knowledge of Microsoft Office products
  • Organized, with attention to detail and the ability to multi-task
  • Desire to learn different aspects of digital advertising
  • Requires a valid driver’s license
  • Requires ability to travel to local business calls when needed
