We are looking for a collaborative team player who employs innovative thinking to develop and continuously improve programs, exhibits strong leadership and communication skills, and excels at driving efficiency.  The Affiliate and Video Analyst’s responsibilities include the management of our Affiliate network; improving the volume and quality of traffic to Ulta Beauty across all devices, and driving revenue online and in our stores. This role requires both strategic and tactical level work to continuously improve the experience of our guests.  

The Affiliate and Video Analyst is responsible for planning, development, execution and evaluation of Ulta Beauty’s Affiliate and Video Marketing programs. Reporting to the Manager, Digital Marketing, the Affiliate and Video Analyst will work with internal teams across marketing, site merchandising, and IT as well as external partners to achieve business objectives. Ulta Beauty is looking for an enterprise thinker that exhibits leadership and persuasion skills.

  • Strategize, manage, and develop Ulta Beauty’s Affiliate and Video Marketing   strategy
  • Own the P&L of the Affiliate and Video channels and responsible for forecasting and budgeting of the channels
  • Manage Agency relationship to execute ongoing account optimization, which includes developing new business opportunities, creating strategic proposals, and working with cross-functional teams to meet company goals and objectives
  •  Serve as the expert on Affiliate and Video marketing within the company to drive innovation and share relevant trends that can be leveraged by other areas of the business, including Merchandising and Brand Marketing
  • Works closely with external partners to maintain support and keep up to date on new features and product capabilities
  • Oversees marketing invoices and insertion orders
  • Participates in MSA, SOW contracts, addendums and vendor reviews
  •  Collaborates with the Merchandising Team to understand the promotional strategy that can leveraged for new Affiliate offers
  • Stays current on industry news, trends, tactics and strategies and educates the broader organization on new opportunities that can be leveraged to provide our guests the best experience
  • Collaborates closely with the Brand Marketing team for video asset creation and strategy
  • Develops channel strategy and execution for all major marketing events as well as core business programs

 

 


Requirements

  • BA/BS in Marketing or Business Administration
  • Minimum 2 years of experience managing Affiliate Marketing
  • Proven track record in managing Affiliate networks within the retail industry
  •  Experience with Impact Radius, Commission Junction or other similar Affiliate networks
  •  Familiarity with YouTube and running video ads
  • High attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills
  • Advanced problem-solving skills
  •  Understand how/when to incorporate qualitative data into decision-making
  •  Proven ability to work closely with technical (software development) teams
  •  Vendor management skills
  • Excellent communication skills; verbal and written
  • Solid data analysis skills and ability to identify actionable insights from large datasets
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously and stay focused and organized
  • Omni-channel experience
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Excel
  • Strong presentation skills and a particular aptitude for synthesizing complex material so that it is clear, meaningful and actionable to a variety of stakeholders
  • Background/interest in cosmetics/beauty/fashion fields
