About this role:
The Associate, Marketing Event Manager position is responsible for assisting with the planning and execution of our prioritized direct-to-brand and agency focused industry and proprietary events, along with supporting client-focused events such as lunch-and -learns, and webinars to name a few. Initiatives include concepting and delivering attention-grabbing programs for events and promotions that will drive our clients and prospects to engage with our Sales Team.
The ideal candidate has strong communication and organization skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across multiple internal teams. This person has exceptional customer services skills, with the ability and demeanor to handle change. The individual will work closely with the client advocacy and other marketing teams to ensure they are integrated, while working to provide an excellent customer experience.
Associate Marketing Event Manager duties and responsibilities:

  • Help define and execute the event strategy, tactical plans, and project management from beginning to end
  • Play an active role in the annual strategic planning process by researching relevant industry events, trends, demonstrating ROI from previously managed events and provide recommendations
  • Maintain event planning documents per event to capture all planning elements and activities
  • Ensuring process, execution, and awareness of all pre-onsite and post-planning elements of each event campaign
  • Provide consistent and clear communication of events programs to all stakeholders in a timely manner, including briefing documents and logistics
  • Organize planning sessions with key stakeholders to gain input on goals and executional ideas
  • Develop scalable processes to support communication, documentation and operations for managing vendors and communicating internally
  • Help manage lead tracking and ROI measurement within Salesforce
  • Work with marketing team on external pre-show communications plans
  • Manage events within specified budget
  • Additional duties as assigned


JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • 2-5 years professional work experience in event marketing roles. Digital marketing a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to work with and present to all levels and functions of the organization.
  • An engaging, outgoing personal style with a customer service mindset who enjoys working independently as well as on a team.
  • The ability to project manage with remote contributors and stakeholders efficiently and effectively.
  • Creative, resourceful, results oriented and collaborative team player.
  • Highly organized with good follow through capabilities.
  • Tenacious, energized, curious and enthusiastic self-starter; ability to be flexible and multi-task.


EXPERIENCE:

  • Demonstrated ability to create and deliver sound event marketing programs focused on efficiently delivering outstanding results.
  • Applicable industry knowledge (media, advertising, tech, etc.).
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel
