Associate Strategic Planner

Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic Associate Strategic Planner to work in our New York or Chicago office with our Strategic Planning team and Account Executives through each step of the sales process.

Responsibilities
LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
- Exposure to the process of developing a media plan and proposal.
- Work with various teams within the organization to gain knowledge of digital media industry in the programmatic video & display spaces.
- Learn client services and engagement skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Serve as a part of the team responsible for all internal communications regarding all RFPs received by the Account Executives.
- Work with Account Executives & Client Service Managers to prepare responses to client RFPs and develop subsequent media plans that meet client specific objectives.
- Grow knowledge of the digital media industry and stay on top of industry wide trends.
- Develop expertise of ENGINE & EMX Digital’s product offerings and resources.
- Communicate with internal teams to gain insights on historical campaign performance, inventory availabilities, targeting options, and product updates.
- Work on special projects of strategic importance at the direction of management.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Advertising, Marketing or related field.
- 1-2 years in advertising industry (past agency or ad tech partner preferred).
- Basic understanding of digital and brand advertising industry and strong desire to learn.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Self-starter able to thrive in a past paced environment.
- Ability to multi-task without allowing performance to suffer.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to build rapport and trust while super-serving our clients & internal teams.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong desire to learn and grow within the company.
- Positive attitude and desire to work in an entrepreneurial, innovative environment.
