The Role:

Avionos is currently looking for a Sr. Business Development Manager in our Chicago office. Must be an experienced and aggressive sales professional that enjoys prospecting, building out Go-To-Market plans to penetrate their territory and open new accounts, and establishing long-term relationships and closing new business within the Digital industry. This role will be responsible for providing business development, establishing relationships with new clients and working with innovative solutions for our clients in addition to growing and mentoring a sales and delivery team in the office.

Responsibilities

This will include the following:

  • Monthly / quarterly reporting of activity for Chicago office
  • Maintaining a detailed pipeline and forecast in our Salesforce CRM
  • Consistently meeting and exceeding quarterly and annual sales quotas
  • Conducting demonstrations onsite and virtually of eCommerce platforms
  • Developing new leads through various marketing activities, cold calling and networking and transferring this knowledge to other business developers to grow the office
  • Developing a deep understanding of clients’ needs and building proposing appropriate solutions
  • Build out a New Business Go-To-Market prospecting plan through properly profiling one’s territory
  • Develop new pipeline opportunities through joint partner marketing activities, cold calling, and industry networking. Maintain a detailed pipeline of prospects in Salesforce.com
  • Develop a deep understanding of Avionos’ solutions and clients’ needs, to build appropriate solution proposals
  • Consistently meet and exceed weekly meeting goals and required activity.
  • Meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales goals, as determined by your overall business plan. Experience in closing new Enterprise software services business.
  • Provide presentations and properly articulate of Avionos’ service offerings to C-level prospects, via phone, email, and face to face.
  • Work with the Avionos Sales Delivery team to create detailed solutions proposals and RFP responses.
  • Participate in weekly sales meetings to provide status updates on opportunity progresses and challenges
  • Forecast opportunities and closable bookings on a quarterly basis. Complete weekly status reports and check-ins.
  • Perform other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above.

 

  • Desired Skills & Experience:
  • 5-7 successful years of experience selling services to C level executives
  • Experience selling professional eCommerce services
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Proven track record or obtaining and exceeding quotas
  • Superior relationship building and interpersonal skills
  • Entrepreneurial in nature
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Strong leadership skills in growing mentoring and developing a sales and delivery team
  • Ability to manage and grow multiple clients independently
  • Proven track record as a top sales producer
  • Proven ability to earn significant commissions
  • Ability to work in fast paced, growing environment
  • Innate drive to succeed with corresponding track record
  • Travel as needed for client meetings
  • 5-7 years of experience selling software services, preferably within eCommerce
  • Strong presentation skills. Ability to present to C-Level Executives in a group setting.
  • Proven track record or exceeding sales quotas in Enterprise Software services sales
  • Superior relationship building and interpersonal skills
  • Entrepreneurial in nature, but ability to work within a defined sales process
  • Ability to work in fast paced, growing environment. Experience in working within a “team sell”
  • Innate drive to succeed with corresponding track record
  • Travel as needed for client meetings
