We're currently searching for a Channel Marketing Manager at our offices in Glenview, north of Chicago.
Our channels consist of a) direct to consumer b) partners and c) accountants. We also work closely with our sales teams to ensure they have what they need to sell effectively.
SurePayroll's innovative Marketing team finds creative ways to reach our target markets and collaborate with our channel partners to drive sales for SurePayroll and our partners alike. The Channel Marketing Manager will oversee the day-to-day development, management and optimization of all of our channels and the overall marketing support for each partnership. They will also oversee a team of 5 that includes Account Executives as well as a Designer and a Writer.
The ideal candidate will thrive in an entrepreneurial environment and have strong marketing acumen with experience developing marketing collateral and campaigns from the ground up combined with an analytical approach to tracking and reporting on trends and results. Being able to clearly articulate our value proposition and unique selling points to our consumers and for our partners is criticial.
In this role, you can expect to:
- Develop marketing strategies and campaigns to increase sales channel products, build brand awareness within the partner-specific communities we serve as well as with our internal sales teams
- Drive organic growth through new unit sales, developing proactive channel marketing strategies and providing training on SurePayroll’s products, services and processes to clients and internal partners
- Monitor, analyze and report on activities, trends and results and make recommendations (to all levels of leadership) regarding channel marketing activities to ensure essential partnerships with our clients
- Maintain strong working relationships and open communication with critical business partners in Sales, Business Development, Customer Service and Technology as well as with our corporate parent
- Develop and lead SurePayroll's trade show marketing program focusing on our partner-specific communities
- Partner with the marketing communications team to develop advertising and collateral for partner campaigns and to support brand awareness
We're looking for someone who brings to the table:
- Strong verbal and written communication, the confidence to co present to leadership at all levels
- Experience with both traditional and online marketing, advertising and PR
- Experience working with marketing service vendors from selection through contract negotiation
- Advanced Microsoft Office, web publishing and other business software skills, SalesForce.com a plus
- BA/BS and at least 5 years managing others
