Hello Consumer Insights Manager!

Our team is growing! Freeosk, Inc. is looking for a full-time, Chicago-based Consumer Insights Manager to join our Analytics team and lead projects that deliver consumer insights and shopper marketing strategies to key stakeholders. In this role, you’ll dig into our internal and retail partner data to analyze shopper purchasing habits and tell a clear story of shopper behavior. You’ll combine the data-based facts with your expert knowledge of consumer and shopper trends to present marketing recommendations to leading CPG companies. Interested? Keep reading!

Our ideal candidate is a gifted presenter with the ability to understand and tailor communication to different stakeholders. We are looking for someone who can synthesize large amounts of data about sampling and purchasing behaviors and succinctly communicate how the results of Freeosk offerings can align with our clients’ needs. Some of the key responsibilities you’ll have include:

  • Consumer and shopper insights
    • Conduct secondary research to identify consumer and shopper trends and brand or retailer opportunities
    • Use internal and retail partner data to analyze and understand sampling and purchasing behavior
  • Shopper marketing
    • Understand client and brand objectives and how they relate to the shopper marketing strategies
    • Effectively articulate how Freeosk offerings support client objectives and provide analysis to support claims
  • Client support
    • Clearly consolidate findings from various Freeosk departments including Analytics, Operations, Project Management, Account Management to provide feedback and recommendations to CPG clients

About you:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3+ years relevant professional experience
  • CPG experience in brand marketing, market research, category management and/or shopper & consumer insights roles or experience as a service provider to these functions
  • Experience with retailer specific data tools (POS, Retailer Loyalty card data) preferred
  • Previous consulting experience a plus
  • Proficient in use of Excel to analyze marketing campaign performance
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Proven influencing skills
