ABOUT THE ROLE:
4C is looking for a prolific and talented content creator to strategically plan and execute our content marketing program. The core of this role will be to write and produce various types of content regularly, manage our blog, and to expand our company’s digital footprint, awareness, subscribers, and leads. This role requires a high level of creativity, attention to detail, and project management skills.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Build a strategic plan to leverage content as a core marketing asset in the market
- Blog on an ongoing basis to attract site visitors through search, social media, and email subscribers
- Create longer-form content to drive leads, subscribers, awareness, and/or other important metrics (examples include ebooks, whitepapers, infographics, guides, templates, etc.)
- Collaborate with designers, product marketers, sales professionals, external influencers, and industry experts to produce relevant content that meets the needs of both key stakeholders and our audience
- Editorial requirements include basic SEO understanding, content categorization and structure, content development, distribution and measurement.
- Development of editorial governance so content is consistent with our brand voice, style and tone
- Editorial calendar and organization workflows must be developed and managed
- Measurement and optimization of the program will be required on a regular and ongoing basis
REQUIREMENTS:
- BA/BS degree or equivalent working experience.
- Past experience producing content for the web and building audiences
- Experience with WordPress and Google Analytics preferred
- Strong marketing point-of-view (as 4C’s audience are marketing professionals) especially with social advertising and television.
