Civis Analytics is seeking an experienced content manager to join its team. In this role you will lead development and execution of the content strategy that sits at the core of the company’s marketing efforts. This position is responsible for evaluating, planning, organizing, writing, and managing the stories we tell to grow our business and increase brand awareness.

We are looking for organized, detail-oriented individuals from diverse backgrounds with demonstrated problem-solving skills. Responsibilities

  • Develop, manage and execute the content marketing strategy and production across our corporate website, programs and channels
  • Serve as an in-house “journalist,” by uncovering stories and then bringing them to life, writing is the most essential core competency for this role
  • Collaborate across the organization to ensure maximum reach and engagement with our target audience
  • Evaluate and make recommendations for audience engagement including social media channels, websites, blogs, media and other avenues as appropriate
  • Develop benchmark criteria to measure the effectiveness of content marketing programs; report on success and provide recommendations as needed

Qualifications

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to translate key messages into channel appropriate communications
  • Understanding of interactive marketing (mobile, video, social and other digital mediums)
  • Strong project management skills including the ability to manage multiple, competing priorities
  • Experience creating technical content and ability to make complicated concepts easy to understand
  • Experience creating and implementing go-to-market and product marketing materials 
  • Copyediting experience and extensive email marketing campaign experience 
  • Self-starter with strong problem solving and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in the latest creative applications, tools and technology
  • Experience with site reporting tools, such as Google Analytics
  • 5-10 years experience in Content Marketing
  • BA/BS required
