Inventables is hiring a creative, data-driven Content Marketing Manager. This person will play a critical role in translating product marketing strategies into rich content (e.g. copy, images, videos) that drives growth and reduces churn. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of product strategy, growth marketing, positioning and messaging, and have a track record of strong cross-functional leadership. 


  • Lead content creation and creative direction across each stage of our customer lifecycle journey:
    • Acquisition: Acquiring prospects by generating paid (i.e. digital ads) and organic traffic (i.e. blog)
    • Conversion: Converting prospects into customers on as well as within our Easel application 
    • Retention: Motivating existing customers to engage and find value in Inventables
    • Growth: Upselling existing customers to other products and services
  • Manage content creation for all relevant marketing channels
    • Set and monitor content creation deadlines across all channels, based on department needs and with collaboration from stakeholders
    • Oversee and coordinate third-party content creation and deadlines for independent contractors and freelance designers
    • Produce content (copy, videos, images, etc.) as needed
  • Have a brand publisher mindset: create the content our audience is looking for and then optimize the path to conversion
  • Collaborate with Product to develop customer-facing value propositions for marketing campaigns
  • Track marketing program performance and optimize through continuous testing
  • Regularly review our competitors’ product marketing and and drive ongoing differentiation
  • Interview and develop relationships with spokespeople, customers and other subject-matter experts
  • Collaborate with the Director of Growth Marketing on product marketing strategies


  • 3+ years content marketing experience delivering highly successful content programs in a high-growth tech company
  • Ability to write hard-hitting copy that drives action in a variety of mediums and formats (website, blogs, social media, collateral, reports, video, email, infographics, press releases and more)
  • Experience managing creative teams, agencies and/or other vendors from concept to creation
  • Experience in growth or lifecycle marketing via email, in-product, content marketing, and other owned / earned channels
  • Ability to optimize content for SEO
  • Strong quantitative analytical ability and excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Comfort in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, start-up environment
  • Genuine interest and curiosity in helping small businesses succeed
  • Editorial mindset that seeks to understand what audiences consume and how to create it
  • Ability to analyze and present content performance
  • Project management skills and understanding how to manage the priorities of multiple stakeholders in a complex environment and focus on the delivery of results in the form of engagement, leads and sales
