FTD Companies is looking for a rock star Junior Copywriter to join our in-house creative team. Do you have a background in branding and e-commerce marketing experience that can help you to shape the voice of our emerging brand and share it with the world? Are you able to think both strategically and creatively? Do you love sweets, gift giving and celebrations? You may be the person for us!

The ideal candidate exhibits a strong passion and knowledge of marketing and creative writing, a solid grasp of AP Writing Style, and will play an integral role in pushing the Shari's Berries brand forward. As the keeper of the brand flame, this team owns voice and aesthetic and shapes all facets of customer-facing communication. If you...

  • Are a great writer and creative thinker with a good sense of humor and a casual writing style
  • Have a flair for collaboration and love working with designers and fellow writers to bring a vision to life
  • Are experienced in writing email campaigns, banner ads, website assets and social media posts that are not only creative and fun but also garner results
  • Have experience creating compelling, story-driven user experiences across digital platforms and devices
  • Are comfortable working directly with internal clients to understand their goals
  • Have a passion for words and creative thinking, and experience with fast-paced e-commerce brands (bonus if you have experience with food products!)
  • Keep up-to-date with crucial e-commerce trends and our competitive landscape
  • Are eager to learn and grow your skill set in the world of e-commerce and gifting

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Write compelling copy that will live across multiple mediums {web, print, social media, email}
  • Work directly with internal clients to understand their goals and contribute creative solutions
  • Work with the team to develop the innovative approach for seasonal campaigns
  • Provide copy for product descriptions, transactional pages, and other merchandise and sales-related initiatives
  • Contribute ideas for campaigns, social media, and creative-driven projects
  • Keep up with lifestyle, food/sweets, decor, fashion and gifting trends
  • Elevate the voice and push the boundaries of the brand
  • Translate ideas clearly and cohesively
