Deloitte Digital-XSP is seeking proven solution architects and technical project leads to help us transform the way brands interact with their customers.
Whether we’re building cutting-edge customer data platforms (CDP) offering a single view of customer interactions across engagement channels, implementing machine-learning to optimize customer marketing offers in real-time, or helping clients design and execute impactful marketing campaigns, Deloitte Digital is evolving customer experience by arming our clients with the ability to communicate the right message to the right customers at the right time.
Work you’ll do
Day to day, you’ll be responsible for working with client and internal Deloitte teams to design solution architecture and manage development teams to execute that vision. This includes the following responsibilities:
Serve as lead Sr. Marketing Digital Solution Architect during Discovery and Build phases of Customer Data Platform (CDP) implementations as well as other data driven solutions
Interface with client’s technical and business teams to design high-level and component architecture for Marketing Services solutions spanning:
Cloud-based infrastructure
ETL and data processing (including data migration, integration, and curation)
Data engines and storage
Data availability and access
Software integrations
Martech/Adtech tools and integrations
Engage Solution Engineers (e.g., Cloud Engineers) and other domain-specific SMEs (e.g., Adobe Architects) to support solution design and execution when needed
Lead technical resource planning and level-of-effort estimation to support project scoping, pricing and planning
On-board and manage developers in building designed solutions; work with Functional Project Manager (PM) to remove “blockers” as needed to deliver project in timely manner with high quality
Coordinate with our Functional PMs to communicate project status, risks and issues to clients, Deloitte account teams, and Marketing Services leadership as appropriate
Coordinate Testing/SIT/UAT, depending on project scope and team structure

We implement and operate the technology platforms that enable personalized content, commerce and marketing user-centric experiences. In doing so, we transform our clients’ marketing and engagement operations into modern, data-driven, creatively focused organizations. Our team brings deep experience in creative and digital marketing capabilities, many from our Digital Studios.

Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Business Management/Administration
5+ years of related technical and managerial experience
2+ years of leading database or application implementation projects
In depth understanding of relational database design, ETL processing, and real-time connectivity as well as non-relational/semi-structured database engines
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with technical and non-technical individuals
Excellent rapport with technical and non-technical team members and clients
Ability to approach technical challenges from a business perspective
Ability to problem solve, resolve conflicts, attend to details, and execute
Ability to travel 50% of the time
