Sertifi is looking for an experienced Demand Generation Manager to join our Marketing team in a high impact role. You will be responsible for driving top-of-the-funnel activities, including managing and executing our trade shows and events, to drive brand awareness and support business goals. You will define the strategy and goals of the program, develop demand generation plans, manage the budget and timeline, evaluate the ROI, and ensure all stakeholders are working together to deliver a high-quality experience. Our ideal candidate has B2B events experience, focused on demand generation within the SaaS industry. This position reports to our Director of Marketing in out downtown Chicago office.

Challenges You’ll Tackle:

Strategy:

  • Evaluate event performance and post-event ROI; communicate analysis and industry learnings to company stakeholders
  • Develop strategy for demand generation to drive pipeline of inbound sales leads 
  • Strategically plan engaging and repeatable events that build brand awareness and drive revenue
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to develop communication, positioning, and messaging that represent the Sertifi brand
  • Create and manage the budget for events: negotiate contracts, be accountable for vendors, and refine our processes
  • Cultivate strong industry relationships with key partners, customers and vendors

Execution:

  • Ensure events run flawlessly and hit ROI targets by managing the process from start to finish
  • Pre-show planning: event recruitment, train internal teams, secure marketing and sales materials, event communication, branding and messaging
  • Logistics: booth space selection and build out, secure flights and hotels, event registrations, ordering and shipping materials
  • Event coordination: manage onsite team members, booth set-up and tear-down, coordinate booth schedule, breaks, branded attire, etc.
  • Inventory: manage all event inventory including booth displays and signs, demo sites, event presentations, sales and marketing collateral, giveaways and swag, etc.
  • Post-event evaluation: coordinate with sales team on follow-up programs, track leads, measure ROI, recommendations for future events

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

  • 5+ years of related demand generation experience, preferably at a B2B SaaS company
  • Significant experience within event marketing or project management experience 
  • Proven track record of driving demand through multiple marketing channels 
  • Experience executing impactful events that deliver measurable results
  • Experience tracking and reporting on event metrics and ROI
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills; you can multi-task and take the lead on several event simultaneously
  • Have good judgement, work well under pressure, and execute on tight deadlines
  • You exemplify leadership and thoughtful decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • You can work across various levels of the organization while building trust and fostering collaboration
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or equivalent experience
  • Ability to travel frequently throughout North America and possibly internationally for trade shows and events
