Digital Marketing Specialist

We are looking for an experienced Digital Marketing Specialist to join our growing revenue marketing team. The revenue marketing team is responsible for driving inbound trials, demos, and leads through our website from paid and organic digital marketing channels. This is an opportunity to have a direct impact on the performance of these metrics by improving our digital marketing results.
As a member of our paid media team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and optimization of our paid search, display, and paid social accounts as well as other paid marketing initiatives. In this role, you will have a material impact on a rapidly growing business and will be able to contribute directly to our top of funnel marketing goals. You will partner with multiple cross-functional teams to improve conversion metrics, including but not limited to web strategy, UX design, demand generation, marketing analytics, product marketing, sales and marketing operations.
In your previous experience, you have been responsible for managing paid marketing in a B2B SaaS or similar environment. You have worked at a company with a large sales team and understand the SaaS sales funnel. You use paid search and/or paid social platforms regularly and have experience managing both domestic & international paid marketing initiatives. In addition, you’re detail-oriented, quantitatively proficient, and able to analyze data from various tools (i.e. SA360, Google Analytics, Tableau, Salesforce) to make data-driven optimizations.

Qualifications:
These are the minimum qualifications that our hiring team is looking for in this role:
- Minimum of 1-2+ years of digital advertising experience
- Ability to develop, execute and optimize Paid Search (PPC) and/or paid social tactics & strategies. Proficient in Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Facebook Ads, and LinkedIn Ads.
- Experience reporting on the various paid channels performance and provide optimization recommendations
Additionally, these are the preferred qualifications that would indicate a particularly strong candidate:
- Experience managing campaigns with the a direct response & lead generation goal
- Experience with conversion rate optimization and A/B Testing across various paid platforms
- Programmatic ad buying experience within a ad serving platform to manage paid media campaigns
- Proficient in Web Analytics (i.e. Google Analytics), CRM tools (i.e. Salesforce), and leveraging various data sources to make optimization decisions
Within 1 month, you will...
- Learn about and be trained on Sprout’s marketing funnel and current paid media performance
- Work with the performance marketing team to get on-boarded and understand past and present paid media initiatives and strategies
- Get to know the revenue marketing team and have a clear understanding of team goals and objectives
- Meet with key partners in demand generation, SEO, social, content, and design to learn about the scope of their work and the various paid media projects they have participated in
- Get access to paid media accounts and past reports
- Participate in weekly stand ups and discuss the progress of current projects
Within 3 months, you will...
- Have a grasp on how paid media impacts the sales funnel
- Become familiar with data in ad platforms, Google Analytics, and Salesforce and how to pull reports on spend, traffic, conversion metrics (trials, demos, leads), and other customer segment data to identify actionable insights
- Begin to build, launch, and optimize campaigns in ad platforms
- Monitor and manage budgets across various paid media platforms
- Measure and report on performance of ongoing campaigns
- Effectively leverage ad platforms to identify campaign performance opportunities
Within 6 months you will...
- Autonomously manage day to day execution and optimization across paid media channels
- Regularly report on results and impact of campaigns
- Develop short- and long-term optimization strategies to further improve digital marketing performance
- Identify new channels for testing and opportunities within existing channels to test
- Partner with cross-functional teams to implement new campaigns and initiatives
- Start gaining an understanding of the sales processes and how our digital marketing efforts can support sales
Within 12 months you will...
- Have advanced knowledge of our tech stack and tools needed to effectively run digital marketing campaigns
- Consistently measure, analyze, and communicate campaign performance
- Proactively develop and execute campaign optimization strategies that improve conversion metrics (CVR, CPL, CAC) and drive revenue
- Have a very strong understanding of the B2B SaaS model and the digital advertising levers that can be pulled to drive performance. Understand where to prioritize efforts to make the most impact in the marketing funnel
- Collaborate effectively across the organization to improve entire customer journey throughout the marketing funnel
- Work with your manager to understand their long-term road map and where we can help facilitate growth
