LogicGate’s Marketing team is seeking a digital marketer with strong experience in email, marketing automation and database marketing. The successful candidate will have experience building, launching and optimizing drip campaigns, triggered sends, newsletters and targeted nurtures combined with a drive for marketing to contribute directly to revenue, and a demonstrated ability to meet or exceed aggressive goals.
You will work closely with other members of the Marketing team, as well as Sales, Product and Customer Success to optimize and develop email communications, database marketing strategies and targeted campaigns. The results of which will be measured through gains in engagement, leads, opportunities and revenue.
Required Skills
- Skilled in email marketing fundamentals, best practices and design
- Ability to map marketing ideas to segmentation, channel, and content strategies that execute on time and deliver maximum impact
- Deep understanding of digital marketing, attribution, email acquisition & retention strategies
- Knowledge and experience maintaining a marketing database including strategies for data cleanliness, augmentation and segmentation. Experience with using Salesforce campaigns for segmentation and measurement a plus
- Deep knowledge of marketing automation platforms -- Pardot experience highly preferred
- Analytical curiosity and ability to dive into data to pull insights/trends relevant to the channel/business
- Working knowledge of email marketing creative, development best practices, and CAN-SPAM laws
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Highly self-motivated, including the ability to work independently and partner effectively with team members to achieve desired results when required
- Excellent project management skills with proven ability to handle multiple projects and deliver results
What you’ll do:
- Manage and support the execution of email marketing programs, including development, production, and QA for segmented and targeted campaigns.
- Create and continuously optimize campaigns for better engagement
- Monitor, manage and maintain data quality within the marketing database including lead/contact cleanliness, augmentation, enrichment and segmentation strategies
- Refine and build messaging and templates according to email best practices and industry standards
- Evolve, design and nurture campaigns that will successfully move leads down the purchase funnel with well-thought out and tailored messaging and offers
- Help build and maintain lead grading and scoring using marketing automation platform to ensure that leads are promoted and flagged at the right time for outreach
- Create thoughtful, personalized triggered communications that will drive customer engagement, and support the company's strategic goals
- Analyze performance of email strategies and campaigns and drive continuous optimization of performance, considering factors such as seasonality, customer segments, competitor behavior, historical successes
- Work with Marketing, Product, Customer Success and Sales to ensure flawless execution of email campaigns
- Drive and manage campaign process: data, segmentation, and list management to maximize engagement, conversions and revenue
- Understand our lead and customer funnel, identify gaps and opportunities to increase conversion through automation
- Work with our WordPress/Pardot developer and freelance designers to build and maintain HTML templates for emails and forms
- Take a lead role in campaign optimization and testing through A/B and MVT testing
- Keep abreast of industry trends and conduct competitive analysis as it pertains to email and targeted marketing strategies; summarize and report on results
Required Experience
- 1-4 years experience in database and/or digital marketing using Marketing Automation platform(s) – Pardot strongly preferred
- Must be able to leverage data to create workflows, segments, imports, exports
- Must understand how to utilize email marketing to meet business goals with ability to estimate and communicate impact of programs/initiatives
- Hands-on experience with developing and optimizing campaign strategies based on audience data and segmentation
- Previous lead generation, ecommerce or other relevant digital work experience is preferred
