Job Description
The Director, Brand Marketing will ensure our overall category positioning and each of our business verticals’ value propositions permeate our external branding, customer experience, our customer outreach and our internal marketing. Key success metrics will be focused on brand awareness and consideration along with lower funnel metrics including lifts in conversion and referral.
This individual will achieve this by working closely and bridging across senior management, internal teams, direct reports, brand founders and our customers.
Responsibilities
- Develop and foster strong working relationships across the organization to achieve company goals and priorities. Work closely with key internal teams including but not limited to New Brand Development, Creative, Production, Product Development, Planning, Sourcing, Legal, Analytics, Finance and Channel Marketing
- Communicate brand performance and priorities through monthly brand presentations
- Collaborate with channel marketing to grow brand performance across existing and new channels: DRTV, Web, Digital Ads, Social and Print media
- Manage internal brand marketing in partnership with HR and other internal partners
- Monitor and optimize brand performance
- Act as brand advocate, lead brand positioning through deep understanding of target consumers, industry trends and competitive brands.
- Manage relationship with brand founders/developers. Communicate through the organization the vision of the founders/developers. Ensure alignment with founders/developers (strategies, priorities, performance)
- Develop and coach direct report(s) to help them achieve brand goals
Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or relevant marketing experience. MBA is a Plus
- 7+ years of experience in one or more of the following: Brand Marketing, CPG Marketing, Retail Channel Marketing
- Experience managing PR vendors and other agencies
- Superior project, time and budget management skills
- Excellent writing, communication and presentation skills
