Our team needs an experienced marketer to roll up their sleeves and enthusiastically drive our digital acquisition and retention marketing growth. We're a lean team with meaty goals so we all work together to make the magic happen.

Reporting to our CMO, our ideal candidate is a leader and a doer who can both mentor our existing team and jump into the fray to get it all done. He or she will dive into our data both to develop innovative, actionable strategies that delight current customers, and will drive robust new customer acquisition.

Your Mission on Day 1 and Beyond:
  • Acquisition
    • With an eye to our budget and goals, create a solid digital acquisition strategy that takes us beyond just SEO/SEM, and gets our value proposition in front of our best potential customers in mobile/online
    • Directly manage our programmatic media buys/campaign optimization
    • Develop strong lead gen funnels and collaborate with our brand team on off-to-online nurturing
    • Work with our SEO/SEM Lead to further identify key areas of opportunity in our search optimization
  • Retention
    • Take our rich data and work with our CRM Manager to implement strategies that turn our good customers into great customers, and our great customers into brand advocates
    • With our team analyst, provide clear and actionable performance and optimization analysis of our customer lifecycles, behaviors, and show step change improvement
  • Be a great leader who can foster trust and curiosity in their team and across the organization
  • Select and manage external agency partners as needed to help deliver on objectives
  • Maximize the impact of current programs while testing and scaling new channels
  • Identify and implement marketing tools and systems that accelerate growth and business insights
You Should Have:
  • 6-8 years of increasing digital marketing experience either in a direct client management role, or team management role at agency or brand side. Experience in a mid-stage startup is a big plus
  • A Bachelor's degree in marketing, economics, or related field
  • Strong mobile, SEO/SEM affiliate, display re-targeting and acquisition, display, social advertising knowledge - you know best practices in each and can see through the matrix to make them work together
  • Strong orientation toward performance - you spend smart, are clever, and actively manage budget to maximum efficiency
  • Strong leadership and communication skills - can listen, mentor, and show greatness by example. And don't forget fun
  • The need to stay up on the newest technology in mobile and digital - people targeting, cross device personalization, moving beyond cookies - but you're also pragmatic in your testing and practices
  • Mad analysis skills and curiosity that drives you to use them - strong working knowledge of Excel a must and SQL a big plus
