Director of Marketing
The Director of Marketing, reporting to one of the Co-CEOs, will drive significant and sustained revenue growth through net new business.
The individuals in this role must be entrepreneurial, with a strong focus on building and rebuilding systems. As our product continues to evolve and scale, the Director of Marketing will develop new ways to consistently bring more clients into the Crafty network.
Specific areas of responsibility include (but are not limited to):
- Collaborate cross-functionally to uncover insights and strategies to develop and implement marketing and branding strategies for new and existing products, internally and externally
- Oversee and grow the marketing department, consistently identifying revenue opportunities within our established client base and managing consistent growth through new account generation
- Leverage key marketing performance metrics and tracking tools to provide market research, forecasts, competitive analyses, campaign results, and consumer trends in order to translate results into actionable insights for marketing team
- Building out the marketing organization, which will include:
+ Demand Generation
+ Brand & Design
+ Product Marketing
+ Content - Developing and implementing an SEO strategy

Who You Are::
Your Experience
- 10+ years of overall marketing experience, preferably in software or tech-enabled companies
- 5+ years of marketing management experience in fast-growing early stage startups (post-Series A companies with >$10M outside capital raised)
- Experienced in marketing new solutions and disruptive technology
- Well versed in all aspects of the marketing and sales cycle
- Demonstrated P&L experience and proven track record of consistently exceeding individual and team quantitative goals
- A "talent magnet" with a strong track record of successfully recruiting and developing marketing talent and building high performing teams
- A customer-centric thinker who understands that customers define brands, not the other way around
- A data-driven leader who uses both quantitative and qualitative metrics to shape strategy
- Executive presence and effective interacting solo with C-level audiences
- Previously built a successful "marketing machine," including demand generation, customer segmentation, sales collateral, client engagement campaigns, training and compensation plans, CRM, reporting systems, and scalable processes
- BA or BS degree; MBA is added benefit
