The Director of Paid Search & Social Advertising is responsible for the management of the Paid Search & Social team. This involves planning, strategy, and execution of large paid search engine marketing and social media efforts as well as supporting the team.
To achieve success in this role, applicants must have the ability to work with a team and develop working relationships with the team and clients. They must quickly learn and successfully utilize PPC platforms and tools to analyze, optimize, and communicate data. The Director of Paid Search & Social will be expected to lead the department in the management of online campaigns for clients across a number of channels including Google, Bing, Amazon and Facebook, and manage other analysts in their problem-solving strategy, and collaboration efforts.

What You’ll Do:
-Manage the work of the Paid Search & Social team, providing leadership, ongoing feedback, effective motivation, performance evaluation, career direction, and training of staff members
-Lead strategic management of a variety of client accounts on a series of channels and platforms, including expertise of keyword bids, budgets, impression share, quality score, and similar metrics
-Oversee the execution of client calls, reports, and deliverables from the Paid Search & Social Team
-Serve as an in-house expert of offerings, leading both the execution and presentation of paid search & social audits to prospective clients
-Provide strategic direction for paid search and social advertising clients
-Ensure synergy with internal teams including the SEO department
-Play an integral part in making company decisions by serving as a leader on the leadership team
-Lead the team in achieving ongoing client performance metrics & goals to improve the value of paid advertising efforts
-Collaborate with clients to devise new and exciting marketing initiatives
-Keep up-to-date on emerging online marketing strategies, tools, and best practices
-Work with fun people in a fun atmosphere; interest in ping pong & yoga a plus!
What You’ll Need:
-3-5 years of hands-on paid search and social advertising experience preferred
-Experience leading teams preferred
-Strong written and verbal communication skills
-Experience with client management within an agency
-Highly analytical and strong critical thinking skills
-Ability to create reports on key business indicators
-Results-driven work ethic and proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
-A close eye for detail with the ability to see how details fit into the overall picture
-Excellent time management skills and the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines
-Advanced Microsoft Excel experience
-Expertise in Google Ads & Facebook Ads, in addition to other paid search and social advertising tools
-Comfortable working independently and in cross-functional teams
