Director of Product Marketing, Advisor Wealth Platform

The Role:
We are seeking a dynamic marketing leader to create and execute strategy and ongoing marketing support for our turnkey asset management platform (TAMP), a leading product line within Morningstar Investment Management. In this role you will be responsible for creating and leading GTM strategy for strategic developments and innovative features within our platform and executing campaigns that capture the attention hearts and minds of advisors and their clients.
We prefer for the position to be located in our Chicago office but will consider candidates working remotely in the United States where Morningstar is registered to conduct business.
Qualifications:
- In close partnership with investments, product and sales develop and drive integrated marketing programs in our turnkey asset management platform (TAMP) that enhance the advisor experience within our platform
- Leverage advisor, competitor, NPS and internal insights to inform all aspects of product positioning and messaging and go-to-market plans
- Assess the commercial opportunity and provide ideas that will help drive awareness, interest and conversion in our platform
- Be creative and work with development to create and position new functionalities and features that lead to an easy, friction-free experience for our users
- Create, write and maintain our high-impact content in support of our lead generation, sales enablement, and retention efforts
- Drive the digital experience, user journey and content on our digital platforms.
- Create and manage marketing go-to-market plans and work with key stakeholders across various areas to ensure a successful launch
- Measure, analyze, and report on the success of marketing programs as required with key stakeholders to identify opportunity to continuously improve our outcomes relative to our goals
- Build strong working relationships with internal and third-party compliance to ensure regulatory requirements are met
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required, preferably with an emphasis in marketing or communications
- 10+ years of relevant investment product marketing experience preferred
- Understanding of financial and investment technology platforms such as turnkey asset management programs (TAMPS) and their capabilities, with the ability to competitively position them within the marketplace
- Confident self-starter who is willing to take ownership of initiatives from strategy to execution with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong and articulate written/oral communication capabilities
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment where deliverables may change as client needs and strategy evolves
- Genuine interest in knowing and understanding our clients and the financial services industry
