Job Description
The Director, Product Marketing will be the Marketing champion of each of our Under 65, Life and Small Group Insurance verticals, developing deep understanding of our clients and their customer journeys, increasing acquisition conversion rates and developing onboarding programs and ongoing engagement programs. Key success metrics will include acquisition conversion rates, retention and customer satisfaction rates, and cross sell revenue.
This individual will achieve this by working closely and bridging across senior management, internal teams, direct reports, brand founders and our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Be the voice of the customer and develop deep customer insight for each of our sales verticals’ customers
- Develop segment-focused lifecycle marketing communication programs
- Develop and foster strong working relationships across the organization to achieve company goals and priorities. Work closely with key internal teams including but not limited to Brand Development, Creative, Production, Product Development, Planning, Sourcing, Legal, Analytics, Finance and Channel Marketing
- Communicate product marketing performance and priorities through monthly marketing presentations
- Collaborate with channel marketing to execute effective product marketing performance
- Monitor and optimize each segment’s performance
- Manage a team of product marketing managers - Develop and coach direct report(s) to help them achieve product marketing goals
Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or relevant marketing experience. MBA is a Plus
- 7+ years of experience in Product marketing
- Experience in Insurance marketing preferred
- Experience building and managing lifecycle marketing programs
- Experience working with focus groups
- Experience working with analytics teams on customer profiles and segmentation
- Superior project, time and budget management skills
- Excellent written, communication and presentation skills
