Provi is looking for an enthusiastic and driven Public Relations (PR) Director to design and implement marketing strategies that cultivate our relationships with media, engage our target audiences and boost our brand awareness. If you’re interested in leading our PR function to write effective press releases, build key online and offline communities and launch events, we would like to meet you!
On a day-to-day basis you will coordinate with internal teams (e.g. Marketing and Communications, sales, etc.) to maximize brand consistency in all advertising efforts and use your creative ideas to drive media initiatives that will bring long-term success. You will be responsible for promoting and maintaining a positive image of our company, while ensuring a strong online and offline brand presence.
What you’ll be doing
Maximize brand presence on various channels including web, print, TV, social media
Arrange interviews and press releases to promote Provi and its products/services
Ensure brand consistency in all advertising efforts
Organize events to increase awareness of our company
Track and influence media coverage
Manage sensitive issues to maintain Provi’s positive reputation
Grow audiences and influence by directing the execution of media announcements
Develop publicity plans
Cultivate and maintain relationships with media as well as influential associations and professionals in the industry
Develop media strategies that support strategic business objectives
Determine the best media outlet mix for promotional strategies
Develop high-quality written materials, including press releases, content for spokespeople, statements, pitches, messaging overviews, and presentations
Report on PR campaign results
Manage media analysis, develop insights to inform broader strategy, and spot new opportunities
Proactively identify new market initiatives by assessing new markets and analyzing business opportunities
What we are looking for
Proven work as a Public Relations Director, PR manager or similar role Successfully demonstrated knowledge of media trends (traditional and digital), evolution of platforms/consumption, and business dynamics/models of media properties
Well connected to influential media outlets Takes a thoughtful approach to working with clients and teams
Highly collaborative and shows initiative
Strong interpersonal skills able to build and foster broad network of relationships
A team player who is capable of interacting at all levels of the organization including cross- functionally
Excellent oral and written communication skills, a capable and persuasive communicator
Strong attention to detail
