The Email Campaign Manager is in charge of developing and deploying email campaigns for customers, partners and potential clients. The Email Campaign Manager must be proficient in CRM and email campaign programs and management. Candidates should have direct experience with email execution (audience selection, deliverability, template optimization, subject line best practices, list management,), email performance metrics and project management fundamentals. The Email Campaign Manager must also be able to multi-task and work collaboratively with marketing, merchandising, product development and other departments.
Core Responsibilities:
Drive the email program operations for LivingSocial
Lead campaign optimization of email components - subject line, templates, content, list growth, communication cadence, etc.
Develop deep understanding of drivers of campaign performance
Take a leadership role in planning and execution of email marketing campaigns
Partner with Brand and vertical merchandising teams to ensure copy and email deployment of various marketing programs
Own reporting for individual campaigns and assist in tracking trends in email engagement metrics and financial performance
Work closely with vertical merchandising team on calendar planning, project prioritization and performance tracking
Serve as backup to all email marketing execution
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business or Marketing or equivalent professional experience
5+ years of email marketing experience
Experience in all areas of email campaigns (list hygiene, audience selection, creative and messaging, subject line optimization, marketing and trigger/transactional communications
Excellent project management and communication skills
Deep knowledge of email best practices and domestic CAN-SPAM laws
Experience designing and executing A/B/n tests
Ability to work well under pressure and adapt quickly to change
Direct experience using an email campaign management tool
