Role

The Strategic Partnerships Growth Manager will be responsible for developing, pitching and growing marketing programs with external partners and third party vendors, executing and evaluating the effectiveness of marketing and partnership campaigns and Boro’s campus ambassador program. We’re looking for a highly motivated growth marketer to join our growing startup and develop partnerships that contribute to our growth. 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop strategy for partnership models, including identifying third party industries, brands, products and associations that fit well with Boro’s mission, products and services.
  • Manage business development pipeline to find, vet and launch new partnerships for Boro’s products including borocash, and borodrive.
  • Create and deliver effective sales materials including pitch decks etc. in support of Boro’s value propositions for potential partners.
  • Supervise and manage a team of 2-3 Growth Marketing Associates.
  • Work across marketing channels and key internal teams (Product, Analytics, and Operations) to develop, integrate, launch and continuously optimize marketing and customer experience for all partners.
  • Establishes, builds, and maintains mutually beneficial relationships with strategic partners.
  • Oversee relationships with partners, including day-to-day communication and relationship building to drive continued growth.
  • Regularly monitor partner performance to identify growth and optimization opportunities..
  • Develop and document processes to support on-boarding and growth of partnership efforts.
  • Represent Boro at relevant industry conferences.

Qualifications:

  • At least 4 years of experience in partner relationship building and management.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, finance, and/or marketing preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience planning, executing, closing and growing partnerships.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong presentation, negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Understanding of acquisition marketing strategies and channels.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with a willingness to continuously test new ideas and apply learnings.
  • Strong business acumen, ability to assess impact on business performance.
  • Proficient computer skills – MS Office products, strong Excel user, SQL experience a plus.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • PMP experience preferred or equivalent of 3-4 year experience with Project Management.
  • Experience working with consumer tech and app fields required. 
  • Experience with cultivating university relationships and implementing university campus growth growth strategy.
