Use your skills, experience & talents to be part of something BEAUTIFUL! In this role, you will be a key marketing lead – conceptualizing, developing, and implementing marketing strategies that drive critical business growth pillars.

Priority business needs for Ulta Beauty which the Manager, Integrated Marketing will support include developing and executing marketing strategies, campaigns and initiatives for Emerging Brands andPrestige Cosmetics.  Partnering closely with business leads and cross functional teams, this position with ensure consistent strategy, insight and messaging will be leveraged across marketing efforts in order to create cohesive and synergy that drives results. 

 Additionally, this role will interface directly with our primary brand partners to partner to drive the Ulta Beauty business. The Manager, Integrated Marketing should be proficient at strategy development, brand building and critical thinking with a passion for beauty and an aptitude for retail. 

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES 

      Emerging Brands (EB):

  • Partner closely with EB merchandising team to provide strategic marketing support and execution
  • Ensure cross-functional planning builds EB awareness and drives excitement and trial among consumers
  • Develop internal and external briefs, and monitor project timelines to ensure deadlines are met

      Prestige Cosmetics:

  •  Lead the development and execution of integrated marketing plans for prioritized Prestige Cosmetic initiatives throughout the year
  • Work closely with the merchandising team and key brand partners (i.e. Urban Decay, Tarte) to provide cross-functional marketing support for key brands and launches each quarter
  • Drive collaboration of internal and external resources to develop solid marketing campaigns
  • Collaborate closely with social, creative services, legal and other key stakeholder groups to ensure clear and concise execution of marketing plans/strategies
  • Plan and execute seasonal campaignlettes, which includes briefing and creative development from internal and external resources
  • Develop communication to ensure understanding and effectiveness of marketing programs
  • Maintain knowledge of retail, capabilities, customer needs, internal operations processes and competitive landscape.
  •  Travel may be required (<10% of time)

Requirements

  • 5+ years direct marketing to consumer experience required, preferably in a CPG setting.
  • Excellent leadership skills – including team leadership, thought leadership, problem solving, collaboration.
  •  Strong strategic thinking and planning skills, including the development of creative briefs and project plans.
  • Strong cross-functional management and project management skills & experience.
  •  Strong experience in developing and executing strategic plans and marketing plans.
  • Solid background/skills in analytics and data driven business planning.
  •  Solid background in consumer insight and consumer insight driven business planning.
  • Demonstrated creativity and creative management, including strong demonstrated experience in leading creative work and agency partnerships.
  • Excellent communication/presentation skills, both written and oral.
  •  Passion for business/the work and a constant learner.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
