The Market Research Analyst is responsible for conducting qualitative market research, transforming external information and data into actionable intelligence. This role is critical to understanding market trends and behaviors to support the Director Strategy and provide recommendations that will support the business unit’s strategy.

Responsibilities:

• The market research analyst works closely with other marketing functions as well as related departments within RoomIt and CWT.
• Researches and analyses the hotel market conditions and trends, as well as competitor messaging, strategies, trends and financial reporting documents to obtain strong understanding of competitor intended target audience, strengths, weaknesses and strategies in order to develop effective marketing tools and branding initiatives.
• Analyses the hotel industry players, including new entrants to identify impacts on our hotel business.
• Evaluates continuously, solicits and manages external information sources including research vendors and develop partnerships with industry associations and education bodies.
• Engage with clients, travellers and suppliers through focus groups, surveys and interviews to solicit feedback and recommend solutions that support their needs and objectives.
• Develops and creates deliverables that inform internal decision makers about competitors and the organization’s associated strategies. Audience spans up to CEO and covers most functions.
• Feeds the Integrated Marketing team in order to develop sales and marketing presentations, highlighting CWT’s key differentiators.
• Support Director of Strategy for roadmap prioritization with strategic analysis
• Supports the Marketing team to execute marketing tactics by running specific analysis such as product comparison.


Qualifications:


• Bachelor’s degree
• Excellent at compiling outputs for executive level therefore with strong synthetic skill with both perfect verbal and written English
• Ability to maintain and communicate a high set of competitive-intelligence ethical standards, ensuring that all intelligence is gathered from appropriate sources and employs appropriate collection methodologies.
• Ability to set priorities and work in a fast-paced, multi-project environment.
• Ability to interview and interpret complicated / vague and technical requests from stakeholders, translating these requests into customer-centric, value-based marketing tools
• Has a strong ability to lead and drive results through cross-functional teams with high autonomy
• Great analytical skills, rigorous, creative and autonomous
• Critical mindset, broad perspective on things, capable of thinking outside the box
• Rigorous and detail-oriented, looks at the global and regional picture
• Creative thinker able to develop advanced analysis across multiple dimensions
• Capability to work in a an innovative start up environment as well as in complex large matrix organizations
• Your passion for travel has already led you do discover other areas of the world and other cultures
• 1 to 3 years experience
• Mastering of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
