Marketing Analyst
Rewards Network is looking for a CRM Analyst who will work within the Marketing department to produce data and insights required to make strategic decisions for our clients. In this role, you will define data requirements and build the reporting infrastructure to accelerate growth and improve productivity. The focus of this work will be designing and executing strategic reporting initiatives as well as providing operational and analytical support for high-growth marketing and sales segments.
In this role, you'll get to:
Work with marketing and sales to define and execute projects, campaigns, and programs
Improve quality of leads and performance of the sales organization through data insights
Work cross-functionally across departments to ensure alignment on data and measurement
Utilize and manage marketing data resources and support governance of sales data resources
Understand industry best practices of lead generation and sales cycle, focused on data structure, market segmentation, and reporting and analysis
Build a strong internal network of experts and resources that can help drive effective change
Responsibilities
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following.
Manage technical aspects of key sales and marketing systems (CRM, marketing automation, etc.) used to generate, distribute and report on leads
Establish and maintain scalable processes that ensure best practices in campaign and lead management
Create and maintain metrics reports on marketing and sales activities, as well as effectiveness and business impact
Monitor and maintain data quality within the marketing database, including list creation
Evaluate new technologies and add-on applications to improve and optimize marketing team performance and measurement
Compile, analyze, report and interpret data to support key sales data metrics
Engage in data cleansing activities to ensure that marketing and sales data is consistent and accurate for management reporting
Monitor campaigns to optimize performance based on industry best practices
Develop robust KPIs and scorecards for marketing performance monitoring
Analyze marketing and sales data to develop insights and make recommendations on areas for optimization
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in quantitative or hands-on data field
2+ years of experience in analysis for sales operations/enablement or direct/database marketing
Expertise with Excel (VBA not required)
· Proficiency with Salesforce
· Proficiency with data, business intelligence, and data visualization tools a strong plus
· Experience with marketing automation or email platforms (ex. ExactTarget) a plus
Ability to organize, multi‐task, work independently on several projects and meet deadlines
Critical thinking and attention to detail; able to interpret data, extract insights, and solve problems
