Primary Responsibilities

KeHE’s Sales and Marketing team is looking for an ambitious and team-oriented Marketing Communications Coordinator to help support and optimize KeHE’s communications for driving growth through sales and retailers.

The ideal candidate for this role is creative and innovative, a stellar writer across multiple platforms, multimedia savvy, and well-organized. This role will be tasked with creating, planning, and managing marketing collateral that supports the KeHE Account Management team and drives retailer engagement for growth. 

Ultimately, this person should have experience and an understanding of how to utilize various digital touchpoints to drive highly effective marketing communications to support KeHE’s strategic plan. We need a creative thinking team player who isn’t afraid to ask questions, rethink current processes and procedures, and develop new ways of doing things in pursuit of progress and innovation for the department and the company.

Essential Functions

  • Essential Functions:

    This person will support the Brand Activation & Content Manager, Senior, Customer Care Manager, and work cross-functionally to create content, support sales enablement efforts, and monitor the success of the company’s communications.

    This position will support the following areas: 

    Sales & Marketing Communication Strategy

    • Key influencer on overarching communication strategy
    • Participate and lead cross-functional meetings
    • Assess and evaluate technology
    • Support implementation of new tools
    • Support sales team in improving the contact management process

    Sales & Marketing Communication Development & Implementation

    • Produce targeted sales team and retailer communications in various formats and via various channe
    • Develop and implement event communications, set expectations, and provide training
    • Develop and maintain selling collateral, tools, and communications
    • Coordinate activities, agenda, communications, and execution of sales and retailer webinars
    • Support commercial sales training and recognition activities
  • Other
    • Support sales leadership meetings
    • Schedule, facilitate, and summarize incident command and situational readiness
    • Support KeHE Digital Marketing Platform™ activities
    • Other duties and special projects as requested

 

Minimum Requirements, Qualifications, Additional Skills, Aptitude

    • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field
    • 1-3 years of professional experience, preferably in digital marketing, content creation, and copywriting
    • Strong knowledge of MS office applications, including but not limited to, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
    • Experience with digital communications design and scheduling software like Constant Contact, MailChimp, Canva, Hootsuite/Sprout Social, Meltwater preferred 
    • A creative outside-of-the-box thinker who takes initiative and has a can-do mindset
    • Highly energetic self-starter with excellent verbal and written communication skills with people at all organizational levels, internal and external. 
    • A track record of demonstrating initiative and acting as a team player (identifying opportunities for improvement, taking ownership of new projects, supporting team members, and having the willingness to grow/stretch beyond perceived limitations)  
    • High attention to detail and demonstrated ability to effectively manage a variety of tasks, focusing on those with the highest business impact, including anticipating problems and taking appropriate preventive action. 
    • A strong track record of content generation for a variety of platforms

    Travel Requirements:

    • Ability and willingness to work flexible hours and travel domestically, once business travel resumes, approximately 15-20%
