Marketing Coordinator

Position at Community Brands

Community Brands is a software company that helps organizations achieve social good. Through our technology, we help more than 100,000 associations, nonprofits, schools, faith-based organizations, and partners grow stronger and achieve their missions. Like our clients, our nearly 2,000 employees strive to improve the world in which they live, and we believe that technology plays an important role in that. We are techies and volunteers who dream big and are motivated by more than just a cool job (though that’s a great perk we offer too). The Community Brands culture is one where employees can pursue this passion as part of their profession, and we’re looking for great employees to join us!

We’re expanding our team and are looking for a Marketing Coordinator to join the event fundraising marketing team at Community Brands. The team is driving engagement with donors through technology, and mobile giving and fundraising is an exciting space to be in. We’ve recently made acquisitions in this area of our business, and your voice will help us bring a more unified story to clients. This role reports to the Head of Marketing for event fundraising.

RESPONSIBILITIES
You’ll play an important role in developing leads and campaigns to influence the full-funnel for our B2B software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform – awareness, engagement, lead generation, closed/won deals, adoption, renewal, and upsell/cross-sell. This largely includes managing the lead funnel, building and executing marketing campaigns and lists, researching new partnership opportunities, and coordinating efforts for thought leadership events.

For 2019, you’ll help to refresh existing leads and campaigns; create new campaigns to drive awareness, engagement, interest, and desire with existing and prospective clients; and analyze the success and influence of each campaign on the sales funnel.

The position is ideally suited for candidates who have broad B2B marketing experience; have a metrics-focused approach to marketing; and who strive for quantifiable results that help the business succeed. As a team, we’re focused on achieving higher engagement and conversion rates, improved searchability, and better campaign performance. We operate in a fun, fast-paced, diverse work environment, and there are many opportunities to grow your career within the organization.

EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
Minimum 1-2 years of marketing experience. Technology, SaaS, and/or E-commerce experience desired. Very proficient with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Salesforce, WordPress, and Marketo experience a plus.

Equal Opportunity Employer: Minorities, Women, Veterans, Disabilities

An Insider's view of GiveSmart by Community Brands

How would you describe the company’s work-life balance?

Work-life balance at Community Brands is a priority for productivity! While teams that work off hours (tech support and event staff) have balance time to make up for the evenings and weekends, time management and blocking off time for yourself is a must.

Amanda

Designer

How do you collaborate with other teams in the company?

Cross-department meeting and collaboration is SO important to us because we all come to work with a common goal. We have strategy meetings at a high level, but also have open communication through our internal chat channels where teams bounce ideas off each other. Video chat is a must with our other offices!

Erin

Director, Client Services

What makes someone successful on your team?

The most successful team members are those who proactively find areas where we can help our clients succeed in their goals, and those who have the willingness to adapt positively to the ever-changing world, are those that in turn reach and exceed their goals.

Cara

Senior Account Manager

How do your team's ideas influence the company's direction?

The software team at Community Brands does not believe in being shackled to our computers. We all regularly work events to get firsthand experience of our product in action. This informs our work in every way, from tiny enhancements that improve the donor experience, to big initiatives that deliver innovative solutions to our clients.

John

Principal Software Engineer

What’s the vibe like in the office?

Working at Community Brands taught me that not all 9-5 jobs have to be boring! The office vibe is overall relaxed and collaborative. Different teams constantly interact with one another to work on a variety of projects which makes the environment fun, but still professional!

Paul

Associate Software Developer
