PartySlate is a team of 37 (and growing) individuals representing a wide variety of backgrounds and experiences. We work hard, have fun, and focus on results above all else. We are constantly building, measuring, and learning in order to build our brand, grow our digital presence, and deliver powerful results within the $800 billion events industry. PartySlate was founded in Chicago and has also launched in New York, Los Angeles, Dallas, San Francisco, San Diego, Houston, Atlanta, Miami, Boston, to name a few, with more to come. And as we expand, our talented team continues to expand, too.
Who You Are
PartySlate is focused on fueling growth in 2022 as we continue on our journey to become an indispensable resource for the event industry. As the Marketing Director, you will develop and own key growth strategies to educate, engage, and acquire leading event companies, vendors, and venues across the country and the world. You will partner with stakeholders across marketing, sales, product, community, and more to build a cohesive B2B growth marketing program.
Responsibilities will include:
Define and own holistic B2B marketing strategy; leverage market research and industry knowledge to craft value propositions, messaging, and storytelling to drive growth
Build and implement a scalable strategy to generate vendor and venue profile listings, which provide the sales team with warm leads
Test, measure, and optimize B2B marketing campaigns and initiatives to drive platform registrations, engagement, and clear ROI
Leverage city growth and development playbook to enhance PartySlate’s footprint in new and existing markets
Partner with sales and customer success to develop case studies that highlight vendor and venue success stories, providing powerful sales and retention tools
Create educational marketing collateral for events, webinars, and speaking engagements to drive top-of-funnel engagement and generate warm leads for sales
Develop and refine strategies for referral-based engagement initiatives in order to grow our community and reach new networks
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in B2B marketing or similar field at marketplace or tech company
Experience owning growth strategy at a fast-paced startup
Desire to learn the nuances and unique elements of the events industry
Proficient with Hubspot or related CRM
Data-oriented approach to problem solving
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent prioritization and project management skills
Driven, self-motivated, and flexible
Team player with inspiring approach to collaboration
