Led by proven digital executives, our newly restructured corporate marketing department is building an agile, world-class team structured with a Fintech startup mindset.
The Marketing Innovation Manager, in collaboration with a cross-functional team. Is responsible for discovering, designing, testing, and productizing new opportunities within the marketing sphere. This role will work closely with IT, Digital Product, and Marketing stakeholders to conceptualize, prioritize, and adapting digital marketing technologies to lead Wintrust into new and innovative channels.
Impressive candidates will be able to develop a business case for prioritized concepts, create a robust iterative learning strategy (after all failure is part of innovation), network and assess external vendors and do research to find product-market fit for specific customer pain points. After launch, the Marketing Innovation manager will monitor and track in-market performance and provide an impact analysis on new innovations.
Required experience

  • 5-7 years of experience in innovation marketing, or a related field, preferably within FinTech
  • Has experience leading/collaborating/partnering with a cross-functional team to bring concepts and products to life and to market
  • Ability to model the financial impact on key business projects for executive consumption.
  • Ability to lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Is consumer-centric with a strong understanding of customer needs and ability to translate these into product design requirements
  • Has strong quantitative and critical thinking skills with a well-developed marketing gut and business acumen
  • Masters degree or equivalent
  • Has a "Can-do" optimistic attitude. Willing to roll up your sleeves to get things done and always acts with a healthy sense of urgency
