Groupon is seeking a tenacious, self-starting Customer Growth Marketing Manager to join our Lifecycle Marketing Team. Do you have experience in marketing operations, project management, and program leadership? Are you comfortable working with cross functional teams and do you thrive in fast paced environment? If so, this is a chance to join a high performance team that is leading Groupon’s customer lifecycle management including acquisition, retention and reactivation.

You’ll spend time on the following:

 

  • Lead marketing operations, campaign strategy and optimization for Customer Growth programs and initiatives

  • You will lead development of email marketing campaigns including planning, A/B testing, landing page development, deployment, reporting and optimization

  • Provide thought leadership to optimize and expand customer activation, retention, and reactivation programs

  • You will make recommendations to management of strategies, roadmaps, and operating plans for e-mail channel

  • Work with design/creative teams to develop marketing creative that drive response

  • Track and report on performance of email campaigns and optimization initiatives to internal partners

  • Identify and capitalize on opportunities to optimize customer experience that drive incremental revenue

  • You will partner with engineering and operations teams to implement tech advancements and new strategies

  • Communicate with business leadership and present findings in the form of recommendations

 

We’re excited about you if you have:

  • 5+ years in database driven marketing, CRM experience preferred

  • Bachelor degree in Marketing; Master degree in Marketing or MBA is a plus

  • Strategic program development and big picture thinking in consumer e-commerce merchandising

  • You are familiar with key marketing metrics – proven analytical expertise

  • Knowledge of campaign testing strategies utilized in direct online channels (email, mobile notifications, social)

  • You are highly flexible, ability to handle changing directions/priorities and roles as business needs evolve

We are working on arriving at the optimal attribution models across different areas of our business. For example, the attribution of a purchase to a specific experience — a home page feature, an email, a push notification — likely has a different window of time where we can reasonably say a specific purchase is a result of a specific experience.
